The Look

Style it up with designer Rue De Seine to make a long-lasting, bold lacy statement. The originality and culture infused into each design make her pieces a must-have. From big flared sleeves to bardot heaven, Rue De Seine has it all. For added bohemian flare, opt for one of their staple tassel styles and accessorize with long necklaces and vibrant earrings.

Thinking of going for a more subtle approach? Then Rita Colson might be the one for you! Pure whites and soft lace make for a dreamy bohem-y! With styles fitting for both the Zoe Kravitz and Lana Del Rey sides of the spectrum, you will pull off the heartfelt and hazy look off superbly.

Take a look at Savannah Miller for a vintage-style approach. Miller demonstrates that you can be silky and simple or use all of the sequins and still be bohemian as ever! She creates a playful 20’s vibe with many of her designs using the finest of silks and laces – the gowns complement with ease. To further accessorise, try a flower crown and minimal jewellery to further showcase the dress!

The Location

But how do you bring a boho vibe to the wedding itself you ask? Location, Location, Location!

Outdoor settings work perfectly for this theme, opting for somewhere with big leafy greenery, or in contrast, a sandy beach teamed with a flower arch to say the big I Do’s. For those of you on a budget or simply pushed for time, why not try a garden setting with cute wooden benches styled with bohemian blankets, throws and cushions?

The Nibbles

Now, this is easier than you think! Keep it nice and simple by opting for colourful fruit boards or cheese and biscuit boards – these will no doubt be popular. You can also add in other little snacks such as chicken skewers, small sandwiches and a cute combination of crudités – the perfect bohemian buffet!

The Flowers

Here’s where the flowery fun starts.

Bare your wedding colour palette in mind, but we have to say we’re suckers for cute pastel selections of roses. Dusty pinks, subtle lemon yellows, baby blues, and pretty peach tones are just so aesthetically pleasing. Or you could opt to make it bright and beautiful with vibrant oranges, reds and whites to make it gorgeously playful.

Oh, and don’t forget to add foliage to your bouquet to really give your wedding that rustic boho vibe.

The Music

Songs by none other than the likes of Fleetwood Mac, Jimmy Hendrix, Lana Del Rey, Eagles, Father John Misty, Bob Dylan, and The Beatles. We could go on!

Legends of relaxing rock will surely lend to the atmosphere perfectly.

The Favours

This can be subjective to the type of guests you invite, e.g. their interests and likes. With that in mind, we suggest cute gifts like little bags of popcorn and cute candles or creative personalised lip balms, pencils and shot bottles – bottoms up!

To add character to the wedding bags, place little cardboard labels tied with string around the handles with guest’s names in cute calligraphy!
