When did we become wedding industry besties?
It took Ana entering her bridal era to realise just how much space there was for Beam within weddings. Bridal beauty can feel quite traditional, sometimes even intimidating, and that’s the exact opposite of what we’ve built at Beam.
So naturally, she slid into TWC’s DMs and the rest is history…a very chic, beauty-obsessed, bridal friendship.
We love your company’s ethos, tell us more.
Beam was created to completely reframe the beauty experience. We wanted to move away from the idea that getting your makeup done has to feel formal, intimidating, or reserved for a certain type of person.
For us, it’s about self-expression, confidence, and the ritual of getting ready, whether that’s for a night out, a life moment, or your wedding day.
In the bridal space specifically, we believe beauty should still feel like you, just elevated. Not overdone, not transformed, just the most confident, glowing version of yourself and surrounded by your people enjoying the process.
Do you have any fashion or beauty rules?
At Beam we don’t really believe in rules, but we do believe in intention.
If something makes you feel incredible, that’s the only rule that matters.
For brides, that might mean a barely-there glow, or like for Ana, it might mean electric blue eyeliner and glossy skin. The details are what make the look yours, and as we always say, those little details are what elevate everything.
Also: skin prep is non-negotiable. Your makeup will only ever be as good as the skin prep underneath!
What do you bring to a bride’s day that others cannot?
Choice, confidence, and the space to discover what you actually love.
At Beam, we don’t believe your wedding makeup should be decided in a single trial under pressure. That’s why we created our Discover Services: a series of appointments designed for brides to explore, experiment, and evolve their look over time. You can try different versions of yourself, whether it’s softer, bolder, more defined, more undone until you find the right look.
By the time your wedding day arrives, there’s no second guessing. You’re not hoping you’ll like how you look, you already know.
You inspire us. What inspires you?
We’re inspired by the idea of makeup as self-care and self-expression at once. It can be subtle and grounding, or bold and transformative and both are equally powerful.
Especially in the bridal space, where everything can feel heightened, we love the idea that makeup becomes a way of coming back to yourself. Not becoming someone else, but reconnecting with who you are.
Because at its best, beauty is deeply personal, and that’s what makes it so powerful.
A tip for brides before, during and after their wedding.
Before: Do many trials but more importantly, communicate. The best looks come from collaboration, not perfection.
During: Let things be imperfect, that’s where the magic is.
After: Your wedding look shouldn’t be your peak. It’s just one version of you.
